Spring 2006 Tour Dates, From Ultra Music Festival
to Coachella
Infusion embark
on their biggest US tour to date, traversing America’s spring
music festivals. The tour kicks off at Ultra
Music Festival during Winter Music Conference
and then culminates at the crown jewel of American
music festivals Coachella in Indio,
CA (Day 1) with one of their musical heroes and influences Depeche
Mode.
The trio of Jamie Stevens, Frank Xavier
and Manuel Sharrad has climbed to
the top of the Australian music charts, releasing top
singles & remixes and winning an ARIA (equivalent
of an Australian GRAMMY) for their LP “Six
Feet Above Yesterday”. In
the US, their singles “Natural” and “Girls
Can Be Cruel” were featured on
hit-teen drama The OC and a recent
remix of The Cure “The
Walk” was featured on Rhino Record’s “Future
Retro” compilation (January
2006) featuring remixes by today’s hottest electronic
artists of our favorite New Wave bands. Infusion’s live
shows have captivated audiences across the globe with
high praise for their energetic performances that challenge
the prevailing laptop and knob twiddling impresarios
with full-on, real-time electronic compositions played
out as a band. Be sure not to miss them!

“Australian Next 100 [URB]
alumni storm the States with electro-rock assault…a
glimmer-of-hope-in-dark-times futurism with lyrical
and melodic styling akin to New Order, Depeche Mode
or The Cure.” –URB magazine
“Rockers call it ‘dance
music’ and dancers call it ‘rock,’ but
Infusion’s Six Feet Above Yesterday is
a snapshot into the future of both. This album traces
the moody depths of Depeche Mode, the lyrical ephemeris
of The Cure and the sly, wicked beats of New Order
alongside heavy doses of Underworld.” – BPM
Magazine
“[Infusion] known for performances
that explode with energy, the band is rewriting public
perception of how dance music can translate to a
live format.” - Weekly Dig
“...Infusion redefines dance music.
No vinyl twiddling impresarios, Infusion gives a real-time,
real-life bona fide band-type performance.” -
Boston Herald
“one
of the most celebrated live electronic acts in
the world.” -
