24th Annual International Reggae & World Music Awards With MTV2 Take Center Stage

Chicago, IL (PRWEB) March 25, 2005 -- Event producer Ephraim Martin, president of Martin’s Inter-Culture announced today the worlds premier awards event for reggae and world music, the 24th Annual International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA) in association with MTV2, will once again take center stage in New York on Mother’s Day weekend, Saturday, May 7th, 9:00 pm, at Columbia University- Alfred Lerner Hall, 115th Street and Broadway, in New York City.

Nominees this year include: Freddie MacGregor, Marcia Griffiths, Sean Paul, Beres Hammond, Elephant Man, I-Wayne, Youssou N’Dour, Burning Spear, Tanya Stephens, Spanish Harlem Orchestra, Vybz Kartel, Kanye West, Paula Rubio and many more.
