Renaissance in Italy: The Hostel and Camping Village
The days of cleaning
duties, curfews and crowded dormitory rooms are over
for travellers/backpackers staying in Italian Hostels.
Over the past four years a quiet revolution has swept
the European backpacking circuit with the advent of
the hostel/camping village.
Florence, Italy
(PRWEB) June 2006 -- Plus combines all the cool
things in a backpacker’s hostel
with those of a 5 star modern camping village. The
hostels/camping villages provide unparalleled backpacker
facilities in one destination including swimming pools,
bars, restaurants, wellness centres, clubs and internet
facilities.
Customers have a choice of either staying in hard top
accommodation with their own ensuite or bringing their
own tent. There is a maximum of 3 customers to any
room. Most rooms have air-conditioning to cool the
rooms in the peak of an Italian summer.
Onsite 24hr security and a team of professional cleaners
ensure that travellers have a clean safe and fun experience
while staying at a Plus destination.
Plus has partnered with some of the most well known
campgrounds in Italy to enable customers to find a
Plus branded property in the most sought after destinations
in Italy. “In the peak of summer all of the major
destinations in Italy are full to overflowing, the
Plus brand allows our customers access to good quality
budget accommodation in destinations such as Sorrento,
Rome, Florence and Venice.” said Grant Currie,
Plus Marketing Director
Currently Plus is in the process of introducing several
innovative products to their customers. The first;
The Plus Pass enables customers to prepay their accommodation
before they leave home, whilst at the same time having
the flexibility to book their accommodation at home
or when in Europe. The Pass allows the customer to
book beds, manage their pass, cancel nights and buy
additional nights while at the same time giving the
customer discounts at selected locations.
The second innovation is Plus Points. Plus Points is
a loyalty cards system where after a customer stays
ten nights and collects ten stamps they are given a
plus voucher which entitles the customer to a free
night which is redeemable at any Plus destination.
