South Beach's Newest Playground Aero Bar Set to Open
(Miami, Florida) May 30, 2008- Hailed as the most anticipated
opening this summer, Aero Bar will open its doors June
6, 7 and 8th, 2008. For months this new baby, the brainchild
of Tony Guerra and Smiley Boyd has been considered the
hot ticket of the summer. The venue will celebrate its
arrival to the scene with a multi-day celebration and
media reception (by invitation only of course).
On the first
week of June, all local nightlife enthusiasts with
a taste for house, lounge and electronica music can
head out to the new gem which is conveniently located
in Miami Beach’s Collins Park Cultural Arts Neighborhood
District on 23rd street next to the Bass Museum, Public
Library, the Miami City Ballet and very soon the W
HOTEL. This great location will also afford the venue
great relationships, arts and cultural events which
Guerra has planned for the space. Those interested
are urged to check the website for updates on a series
of fabulous events.
Created to be a multi-media entertainment venue and
nightclub, Aero Bar will delight patrons with live
music, cocktail events and art shows. The venue will
be a spot for a wide array of active South Florida
adults and tourists. Slated for the opening will be
world class entertainment, superstar DJs and South
Florida’s hottest bodies.
Programming for Aero Bar will include “Casa de
Amor” Fridays, “Element” Saturdays
and “Europa” Sundays. First off as far
as not-to-be-missed events during the opening week
will be the birthday party of local fave DJ Cedric
Gervais.
Other titillating events will follow the well-awaited
smash opening including Ocean Drive Magazine’s “cover
issue” on the 20th of June and a July 4th event
featuring San Francisco based producer/DJ Behrouz.
Behrouz is known for his unique blend of deep house,
tribal, a touch of electro, progressive and minimal
techno. The venue will please and delight all five
senses as it has been designed with that very idea
in mind. With visuals that will be on several LCDs,
an amazing sound system, a built in runway for some
of the sexiest fashion shows and a curved corridor-
one will get the feeling of being in a airport in outer
space.
A 5000 square foot playground designed by architect
Matt Peterson, Aero Bar encompasses two rooms, each
offering its own independent mood, style of music and
ambiance. To please even the most discriminating tastes,
it will be a Contemporary, upscale venue yet, with
a “casual” feel.
The design and architecture of the venue truly will entice
guests as their eyes wander, appreciating this “oval” capsule
that will prompt them for takeoff. So many more unique
features will make this the new birth on South Beach,
long anticipated place-to-be for this season and many
thereafter. If you don’t want to miss the festivities
stuck behind the velvet rope get there early!
Tony Guerra has stated: “This needs to be a benchmark,
a new time, a new era where we get in touch with everything
around us. We know the world and the economy have changed.
But as far as enjoyment, recreation for those who love
nightlife, we are providing a new alternative. We hope
our patrons see we’re trying to create an era
where the standard in nightlife changes. We are so
pleased to bring this, our latest project to friends
and nightlife supporters.”
Aero Bar will open with a posh by invitation only celebration
June 6-8th, 2008. It will be located at: 247 23rd Street,
Miami Beach, Florida 33139 \\ 305.674.1110 office.
