1st Annual Summer of Music Festival- Warsaw, Poland

The festival will take place in Warsaw on 9th & 10th of September 2006. In 2 days, on 4 stages, the festival will host over 20 international stars and a number of local talents representing various music genres, from rock, indie, hip hop to dance and electronic  music. The festival is expected to attract 15 000 participants from Poland and abroad. It will be the leading music event this year in Warsaw and one of the major festivals in Poland.

The festival headline artists are the legendary British duo Pet Shop Boys; Ian Brown – ex vocalist and leader of one of the greatest Brit bands The Stone Roses, one of the most successful hip-hop acts to emerge from Great Britain Stereo MC’s, one of the best indie rock bands at the moment Maximo Park, the America's number 1 electronic music export The Crystal Method, Canada's queen of shock-rock Peaches, brilliant Canadian talent Mocky, the famous New York Mercury Rev and many more. The dance tent will be ruled by the legendary DJ and BBC radio host Gilles Peterson accompanied by Galliano singer Earl Zinger, Ninja Tune man Mr Scruff, the British answer to Jazzanova - Bugz in the Attic and many more great artists.

The festival is expected to attract 15,000 participants from Poland and abroad, and is expected by many to become the leading music event this year in Warsaw and one of the major festivals in Poland.
