Set for Saturday, May 20, 2006 at Bicentennial Park in Downtown Miami, though many skeptics did not think it could be bigger with several thousands of part-goers annually, this year’s event will be the festival to remember. This popularized, number one ranked Haitian event has become the mecca for many artists and fans to come together and promote their culture and traditions. Growing as a means of melting together a variety of ethnicities, the Haitian Compas Festival has made an indelible mark as a pillar in this community through its vast array of flags, celebrating not only Haitian Flag Day but Pride Day for countries that make up Miami-Dade County’s diverse society.

Throughout the years thousands have invaded the streets of Downtown Miami to participate in one of the top ten largest outdoor events in the United States and in true Noel & Cecibon Productions style, this year will be no different. Priding itself in being festival pioneers, Noel & Cecibon have been able to set industry standards higher with the quality of performers they have on the agenda, among them Djakout Mizik, the legendary Tropicana, Nu-Look, the New York Trio CaRiMi, Zin, Mizik Mizik, Hangout, new comer’s Klean, Kreyol La from Haiti and of course Miami’s favorite T-Vice.

With a twist on catering to everyone’s desires, Noel & Cecibon Productions and Harmony Records are providing an array of exciting Pre- and Post- Official Parties including a Kick Off Party with Djakout Mizik and Tropicana at Marabou Caf? May 18th, two Pre-Parties, Kreyol La and Zin at Marabou Caf? and Carimi and T-vice at Bongo’s in Downtown, both on May 19th, as well as two After Parties on May 21st to include Kreyol La and Djakout Mizik at Bongo’s and CaRiMi and Nu Look at Marabou Caf?. With these extra preparations to entice everyone’s desires, we are sure that the thousands of party goers coming from across the world will find the utmost satisfaction throughout this whole fun filled weekend.
